ABOUT
Concert pianist Eglė Andrejevaitė has been teaching piano privately since 2013. Since then, she has given more than 3,415 individual piano lessons to adults with previous playing experience as well as to those who have never studied music before.
The high quality of each piano lesson is based on:
- a programme tailored to individual learning goals of the student;
- classical piano-playing principles, including correct hand position, music theory, practice and artistic tasks;
- the use of informal learning principles, incorporating awareness and the learner’s personal experience to support a successful learning process.
“The atmosphere is very positive and informal, and the teacher explains complex things in a very accessible way.”
This is one of the comments Eglė Andrejevaitė hears most often after her lessons. More reviews →
LESSON / COURSE PROGRAMME
The lesson or course programme depends on:
- your previous musical experience;
- your individual learning goal;
- the time you are able to dedicate to practice at home.
Eglė’s VIDEO TIPS (in lithuanian): for beginners / for advanced players.
TRIAL LESSON – 75 min.
The first lesson is always an introductory lesson. During this session, we will:
- discuss your musical needs and look for a suitable schedule to achieve your goals;
- introduce or refresh your understanding of the instrument, the pianist’s physiology and why this matters while playing;
- play together (four hands). No preparation required.
For those who have never played before, the first lesson is not only an introduction to the instrument, but also an opportunity to discover whether the instrument and the learning process are something you genuinely want and are able to devote time to.
For those who already play, the introductory lesson includes additional attention to the fundamentals of piano technique, including fine motor skills (individual finger work) and larger-scale technique (chord playing).
The programme of the second and subsequent lessons depends on students’ individual needs. It may include:
- an ongoing learning process established after the first lesson;
- an individual programme focused on a specific problem or question (masterclass).
Individual lesson – 60 min.
A 60-minute lesson is best suited to those who wish to learn regularly and consistently.
I recommend this format to those who plan to attend lessons on a regular basis – for example, once a week or every two weeks.
Within 60 minutes, there is enough time to work purposefully on repertoire, technique, music theory, interpretation and assignments from the previous lesson. A regular schedule makes it possible to gradually develop playing skills, monitor progress and adapt subsequent tasks to the students’ development.
Individual lesson – 90 min.
A 90-minute lesson is best suited to those who learn on a one-off or occasional basis.
I recommend this format to those who plan to come approximately once a month or who would like a more in-depth session focused on a specific question, piece of music or task challenge.
A longer lesson provides more time to analyse a piece in depth, explore technical and interpretative questions, try out different solutions in practice and develop clear recommendations for independent work between lessons.
The 90-minute format can also be particularly suitable for those preparing for the performance, exam or competition, or those looking for an intensive individual consultation.
Which lesson length should you choose?
60 min. – if you would like to learn regularly and consistently.
90 min. – if you learn less frequently, on a one-off basis, or would like to work in depth on a specific question.
If you are unsure which format is right for you, start with TRIAL LESSON – 75 min. We will assess your experience, needs and learning goals together.
PIANO ABC | 5 individual lessons
The piano is one of the instruments with the greatest expressive potential. To make it “tell the story”, imagination alone is not enough. Other skills are equally important – the performer’s hands posture, coordination, movement control and knowledge.
PIANO ABC is my original programme designed to develop fundamental piano-playing skills, both for beginners and for more advanced players wishing to improve their technique.
During the course, you will learn:
- piano posture and its importance while playing;
- the basics of rhythm;
- music notation: treble and bass clefs, notes, orientation on the keyboard, etc.;
- 2 works of music: for two and four hands.
Advanced students will additionally develop their skills in rhythm, harmony, dynamics and phrasing.
Lesson duration: 60 min.
PIANO BASIC | 10 +1 individual piano lessons
This course is an extension of the PIANO ABC programme, developed through practical exercises.
You’ll gain the understanding of the fundamentals of music theory and how to apply them in practice in your repertoire. The core topics of the course are structured around a balance of time, rhythm and tempo, allowing the student to gain practical experience.
During the course, you will:
- learn different ways of producing sound: legato, staccato and separate;
- develop the most important sense for a musician – rhythm – through advanced exercises;
- become familiar with listening and recognising intervals.
For first-time purchasers of this course, the TRIAL lesson or the 11-th lesson is complimentary. 🎁
Lesson duration: 60 min.

Ana Matulevičiūte –
Eglė is an amazing teacher and person! I was honored to learn from her and so will you! I can’t recommend her enough, she is truly wonderful.
Carlien –
I had my first lesson yesterday and I have truly enjoyed it. Great to get also explanations about the piano itself and the chemistry between piano and player. I am inclined now to further refresh my playing skills. I would truly recommend Egle as your teacher (and herself, she plays wonderfully the piano!).
